EDUCATION
James Joyce 's education began at Clongowes Wood College, a boarding school in County Kildare , which he entered in 1888 but had to leave in 1892 when his father could no longer pay the price. Joyce continued studying at home , and then for a brief period, the school of the Christian Brothers of North Richmond Street, Dublin, before they offered him a place at Belvedere College, a Jesuit school in the Irish capital . It was in 1893 when they offered this position and hoping that he would be born vocation and join the Order . Was enrolled at the newly established University College Dublin in 1898 . He studied modern languages ​​at specifically, English, French and Italian. Was actively involved in theatrical and literary circles of the capital.
