The group dances are Ceil. You can dance des 4 to 16 or more. For example you need a dance you can dance in 4 separate groups but 4 people each, and there are dances involving 16 people as a group. Dance slippers or soft softshoes.

Ceil dances that can be performed progressively are: Walls of Limerick, Ennis hoop, of Haymaker Jig, Fairy Reel.

Named hardshoes traditional steps. The rhythm of the dance depends but Jig or (j) or Hornpipe (HP). The best known are Blackbird (HP) St. Patrick's Day (J) and The Three Sea Captains (J).
